About domartt

Domartt, based in Switzerland, a Mexican painter whose work is defined by vibrant layers of deep, resonant color. Her compositions are vivid yet delicate, merging emotion and spontaneity into a harmonious visual language. Through color, she expresses the full range of human feeling—joy and melancholy, energy and stillness—inviting the viewer into her world of emotional contrasts.

Born in Mexico, Domartt discovered her passion for painting at a very young age, when she fell in love with the magic of color. Her creative practice is characterized by versatility and experimentation, blending acrylics with unconventional materials such as graphite sticks, nail polish, coffee beans, almond shells, beets, and hibiscus.

A skilled colorist, she confidently combines contrasting and complementary tones, using brushes, palette knives, and found objects as tools. She paints on diverse surfaces—canvas, wood, and even objects found on the street that capture her curiosity.

Guided by intuition, Domartt paints the energy of the universe as she perceives it, translating sensations, rhythms, and emotions into color and form. Her extensive travels have enriched her artistic vision, influencing both her aesthetic sensibility and creative perspective. With a constant desire to evolve, she continues to attend workshops and engage with new artistic practices that inspire and refine her craft.
